A New Round Begins!

Today the newest round of The Pinterest Challenge begins! We are so excited to see what you've been getting off your boards and into your life this month.

The Pinterest Challenge is all about actually DOING the ideas, crafts, recipes, and inspirations that we pin!

Want to know what The Pinheads have been up to? Just check it out:

Later today, we will all be posting tutorials for our Pinterest Projects!
Be sure to stop by each blog and say hi!
But we also want to see what you've been making!  So, link up your Pinterest Inspired pieces below.  There is a serious prize package at stake for the winner (chosen by Michele - our Guest Pinhead).

When you link up, just remember a few guidelines:
  1. Enter the URL of your project post, NOT your homepage.
  2. All projects should be Pinterest-inspired and include a link to the original source or pin.
  3. You can enter up to three completed projects, as long as they haven't been linked up before.
  4. Include a link to the Pinterest Challenge button, so others can join the fun!
(If you don't have a blog, don't worry. You can still enter. E-mail a Pinhead with a picture and description of what you've done.)

If you come back here and find your post has been deleted, make sure you've followed the above rules, adjust your post, and re-link!

I'm Topsy Turvy

The grand prize winner will be chosen by our Guest Pinhead, Michele. Each of us Pinheads will choose our favorites, too. They will be featured next week.  Follow along at the official blog or on Facebook to see some of YOUR highlighted projects during the week.

The linky party will remain open until Sunday.

Teacher Gift Inspired by Pinterest

Today Michelle is sharing her Pinterest inspired project with us.

She was inspired by this teacher's gift on Pinterest by How Does She.

And created her version for her daughter’s teacher who is traveling at the end of the month.

Directions to create your own:

1.  Cut 2x4 at 12"

2.  Modge podge thick scrapbook paper, leaving edge around each side. I used different colors.
3.  Let dry 15min. sandpaper edges
4.  Use rag pressed into stamp pad and antique the edges
5.  Hot Glue foam sheet on bottom
6.  Mark hole and drill at angle for writing utensil

7.  Peel and stick post it notes

8.  I used glue dots to connect acrylic pic frame (3.5x5) and flower head
9.  Cut Teachers name out of vinyl and stick

Thank you Michelle for sharing your Pinterest inspired project with us and linking up to our Pinterest Challenge.  Your daughter's teacher is going to love this gift.  I would love to have this on my desk and I would love for one of my students to make something like this for me.  It will definitely be a cherished gift!!
